Who Is participating: MDO – 12th & the public (extended family, friends of family, neighbors, co-workers, etc.)
Prizes Up For Grabs: The first class/team to register fully, or the one with the highest % of registrations, by 9/3 will receive a Sonic party the week of 9/20.
Lap-A-Thon Start & End: 9:30am to 11:30am. September 25, 2021.
You can start late. You can stop as many times as you want. You can stop whenever you want.
2nd, use the online system to get people to pledge per lap you / your child intends to do.
Simply send them to the same URL you signed up from. Tell them to look for the “DONATE” button, then look up your / your child’s name, and fill out the quick form.
Flat donations are great too, but pledges per intended laps are preferred.
3rd, you can also invite your friends and family to participate in the Lap-A-Thon as well.
If they sign up, they pay $20. That’s their donation to the cause.
If they raise $150 or more, we will reimburse their entry fee, so it costs them nothing.
4th, On Lap-A-Thon Event Day, everyone runs / walks as many laps as possible.
Participants will first check-in onsite and get their bib with a timing chip on it. This will auto-count their laps, which will then get inputted into the system. Then, post-event, everyone who pledged per lap will receive an email as well as have their credit card auto-charged. So you don’t have to go back and do anything!
The Course: We will have a ¼ mile lap setup at Fortis Academy. There will also be a ⅛ mile shorter loop for the little bitties. Both will be In the grass field next to the parking lot.

More Prizes!: After the Lap-A-Thon, prizes will be awarded for the winning class that does the most laps, raises the most money, and prizes for individuals who accomplish the most laps.
Funds are needed: All funds raised will go towards our new capital campaign that includes: the new building, new swing set, and other school improvements.
